Assistant Nurse ManagerAt Saint Mary's Hospital, the Assistant Nurse Manager, also known internally as Senior Clinical Advisor, will support the Nurse Manager in administrative and managerial duties while guiding the healthcare team in delivering best clinical practices within the perioperative setting.The Intermediate Care Unit is a 20-bed unit providing care to high-acuity medical and surgical patients that require continuous cardiac monitoring and various interventions, supporting respiratory and hemodynamic stability.What You Will DoAssist the Nurse Manager in overseeing unit personnel and maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive nursing environment.Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff, contributing to staff coordination, scheduling, and throughput.Participate in hiring, performance management, and staff development.Promote a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.Lead by example, fostering respectful communication, collaboration, and professional growth.Support evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Drive effective patient care outcomes and operational performance through transformational leadership.Minimum QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Valid RN license in Connecticut.Position Highlights and BenefitsSchedule: Full-Time, 36 hours/week, flexible shiftsThe position expectation is to support the evening/night shift teamsSalaried positionCompensation and BenefitsAt Trinity Health Of New England, we understand that the success of our organization is directly related to our hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues who contribute their time and skills to help transform healthcare.
