Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Vascular/Interventional Radiology suite, including 1:1 nursing care during procedures
• Monitor and care for patients in a 5-bay holding room with a ratio of 3–4 patients dependent upon acuity
• Assist with and support a wide range of IR procedures including kyphoplasty, Y-90, peripheral interventions, stroke and trauma cases, diagnostic cerebral cases, drain placements, biopsies, thrombolysis, and neuro coiling cases
• Utilize Maclab documentation systems and paper charting alongside the Meditech EMR platform
• Adapt to working across different radiology modalities throughout the shift as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Interventional Radiology RN experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work flexibly across radiology modalities and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience at large trauma facilities
• 2 or more years of IR RN experience
