Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.The PACU offers care with a patient ratio of either 1:2 or 1:1, depending on whether patients are ICU or pediatric cases. The unit includes between 6 and 8 PACU bays, and staff are required to hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Both inpatient and outpatient cases are managed within the PACU.A Registered Nurse, RN who excels in this role:Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needsInitiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findingsProvides age- and condition-appropriate nursing careCompletes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical recordDevelops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patientApplicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One year of experience preferredASLS certification preferredWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
