Outpatient Counselor
Horizon House
Job Title
To monitor and track clients' progress of assigned caseload. To provide individual and group outpatient counseling services for an assigned caseload of clients.
Receives direct supervision from the Manager, Outpatient Mental Health. N/A.
M.A./M.S./M.Ed. in the Social Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field; at least 2 years experience in the MH/MR field. Prior experience in an outpatient setting helpful. Good communication skills. Good writing (documentation) skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of mental health systems and supports.
