Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, MO. This position involves providing patient care in a telemetry and medical-surgical unit with a focus on inpatient adult patients. The RN will utilize clinical skills to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License in Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri; BLS from American Heart Association; NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Floats: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability, evaluates care effectiveness, and coordinates with ancillary departments. The unit handles adult patients with varying needs, utilizing telemetry monitoring, IV pumps, lift equipment, and tube feeding pumps. The role requires working within the scope of nursing practice, adhering to facility standards, and maintaining patient confidentiality. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids may occur, and physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
