Warehouse Associate

Warehouse AssociatesEastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting Warehouse Associates for our client in Conklin, NY. This position requires employees to work in a warehouse setting, picking goods, packaging picked boxes onto pallet jacks, and coordinating with other team members to deliver goods to the shipment area. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position, working hours are Monday-Friday with occasional overtime on the weekends if requested.ResponsibilitiesMark materials with identifying information.Open boxes and other containers when necessary.Pick products and make sure they show the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes.Record the amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory.Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly.Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements• Prior warehouse experience is a plus. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs repetitively throughout the shift. • Ability to understand basic math problems. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong time-management and prioritization skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment. • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud. The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $17.00/hr, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
