A leading digital streaming network seeks a Senior Editor, Writer to create, edit, and publish engaging digital content focused on television, streaming, movies, sports, and pop culture.

Senior Editor, Writer Responsibilities:

• Write and publish original articles, breaking news, evergreen features, explainers, recommendation guides, and timely entertainment content.

• Edit copy from multiple contributors, provide actionable editorial feedback, fact-check content, develop compelling headlines, update existing articles, and publish content using WordPress and Google Docs.

• Apply SEO strategies including search intent, keyword optimization, internal linking, content structure, and audience-focused editorial decisions to maximize discoverability.

• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, publicity, programming, and cross-functional stakeholders to review content, manage approvals, incorporate feedback, and meet shifting deadlines.

• Research emerging entertainment trends, identify new content opportunities, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and leverage AI-assisted tools to support efficient editorial workflows.

Senior Editor, Writer Qualifications:

• Professional experience as a digital editor, writer, or journalist covering entertainment, television, streaming, movies, or pop culture, with published digital writing samples or portfolio links required.

• Excellent writing, editing, copyediting, headline-writing, research, and fact-checking skills, with the ability to produce engaging, accurate content under tight deadlines.

• Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS), Google Docs, collaborative editorial workflows, SEO best practices, and AI-assisted content tools.

• Experience editing other writers, and the ability to manage stakeholder feedback while balancing multiple priorities in a high-volume digital publishing environment.

• Experience with major entertainment publications, newsrooms, or digital editorial operations, along with familiarity with search trends, audience insights, and content performance analytics, is preferred.

Shift:

• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Open to discuss).
