We're looking for a part-time Bartender to join Crabtree Kitchen + Bar on 8th Ave. in Poulsbo. This position comes with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth within the company, plus a discount on all meals. We also offer cross-training with High Spirits Liquor Store, located just downstairs from the bar, for anyone enthusiastic about learning more about the alcohol industry.

Job Description

Bartenders are often on the front line of our service industry: preparing drinks, entertaining guests, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. It's a challenging job at times, which is why we're looking for someone friendly, organized, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers someone with exceptional knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, and a talent for reading guests' needs and preferences to make great recommendations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct support staff as needed within the bar
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workspace
• Take orders accurately and responsibly 100% of the time
• Present yourself as friendly, personable, and approachable to each guest
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure no one is overserved
• Prepare drinks efficiently and accurately for the entire restaurant, based on provided recipes
• Develop a deep understanding of our brands, core values, and community partnerships to fully answer customer questions

Position Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• 2+ years of bartending experience
• Ability to obtain a MAST permit
• Friendly, personable, and approachable with every guest
• Strong communicator, organized, and able to multitask under pressure
• Superior time management and a strong work ethic
• Genuine interest in learning our brands, core values, and community partnerships
