U.S. Public Policy & Advocacy Intern

Cencora seeks a summer intern to support the U.S. Public Policy & Advocacy team through policy research, project coordination, and knowledge management. This 10-week structured program provides exposure to healthcare policy, legislative processes, advocacy strategy, and the pharmaceutical supply chain while developing professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on federal and state policy issues, healthcare legislation, and regulatory developments
• Draft internal summaries, briefing materials, and presentation content for stakeholders
• Support state-level advocacy resource development through data validation and gap identification
• Maintain team trackers, shared resources, documentation, and project logs
• Attend congressional hearings and industry events, preparing summaries of key findings

Requirements

• Basic understanding of U.S. government, public policy, or legislative processes
• Interest in healthcare, government affairs, advocacy, or pharmaceutical supply chain
• Strong research, writing, and synthesis skills
• Proficiency in professional communication and organization
• Ability to manage project tracking and data validation tasks
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork
