Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience, OR proficiency, and fluoroscopy skills for a 13-week afternoon shift contract in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology department setting in Cedar Rapids, IA
• Equipment includes Philips Diagnostic, Carestream portables, Hologic breast machine, Philips portable, Siemens Cysto, GE OEC C-arms, and Toshiba fluoroscopy
• EMR: Epic
• Monday–Friday afternoon shifts, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, 40 hours/week
• Weekday and weekend on-call rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of X-Ray experience in a clinic or hospital setting
• Proficient OR (Operating Room) experience required
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Experience with Philips equipment required
• Experience with GE OEC C-arm required
• Experience with Carestream portables preferred
• Experience with Siemens Cysto highly preferred
• Iowa Radiology license or IDPH State Permit highly preferred — candidates without licensure must apply upon acceptance (license required if applicable)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory reference or performance evaluation from within the past 2 years preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet the 24-month experience requirement
• Candidates who have been employed by the facility as an FTE or PRN within the past 12 months are not eligible for this position
• Travelers are required to work 1–2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a adjusted pay rate
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday blackout windows
