Job Description:

Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit responsible for providing critical care support, managing patients requiring continuous monitoring, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in critical care/intensive care units.
• Manage CRRT, BiPAPs, and chest tubes; draw own labs.
• Conduct own codes and float to ICU and all inpatient units.
• Call on own consults and manage open heart patients with pacer wires.

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit.
• Experience with CRRT, BiPAPs, chest tubes, and no vascular access team.
• KS RN or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, & NIH certifications.
• Flexible to work every other weekend and holidays based on unit needs.
