You will utilize specialized cleaning products and equipment to wash, wax, and polish the aircraft, ensuring meeting safety and aesthetic standards. Following strict protocols to work efficiently to minimize ground time, while paying attention to detail. In this role you will conduct inspections for surface damages or wears and report findings to leadership to maintain the overall appearance of the aircraft.Responsibilities include:Wash and clean the exterior of aircrafts, including the fuselage, wings, and tailUse specialized cleaning products and equipment to remove dirt, grease, and stainsDocument cleaning activities and report any irregularities to supervisorsInspect the aircraft’s exterior for any damage or maintenance issues and report findingsFollow all safety protocols while working at heights and around aircraftCoordinate with ground crew and maintenance staff for aircraft positioning and safetyComply with environmental regulations regarding the use and disposal of cleaning solvents and fluidsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment storageEnsure the aircraft’s appearance meets airline and regulatory standardsCollaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and on timeParticipate in training sessions on new cleaning techniques and safety proceduresExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications include:18 years of age or olderMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)1 year of customer service1 year of cleaning or maintenance experienceKnowledge of the aviation industryAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including iPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
