Job Category : Production Requisition Number : G6LEA001812 Full-Time On-site Location Showing 1 location Description Essential Job Functions: Review outgoing DO's hand-off and handle email correspondence Communicate with all Heian Operators and KVAL regarding tool changes/startup issues Generate Hardware pile reports, identify doors to be processed and deliver to DET Outfeed Assist all Heian area operators when necessary Conduct tooling changes/adjustments as needed on all Heian machines Clean tool holder in tooling room Setup bit in tooling room Manage hour-by-hour "white boards" with operators Complete various paperwork, charts, and spreadsheets Assist operators with troubleshooting Complete shut-down activities All other tasks assigned by Department Manager or Department Lead Position Requirements Participate in daily production meetings Complete all LMS training as assigned Follow SOP/SPL in each area All team members are expected to adhere to VT's Safety Policies and Procedures at all times. All team members are expected to follow the Code of Conduct to the highest standards as well as to adhere to the Attendance Policy of VT Industries. Qualifications Understand both English and metric lineal measurements Excellent mechanical skills May need to handle hazardous material and take appropriate training to do so Skills Quality Control Novice Communication Advanced Novice Intermediate Behaviors Detail Oriented Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Team Player Works well as a member of a group Leader Inspires teammates to follow them Dedicated Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Self-Starter Inspired to perform without outside help Goal Completion Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks Education High School or better.
