Serenity Heart Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregivers to provide in-home care for an elderly woman in Gilbertsville, PA .
The client is approved for approximately 70 hours of care per week , and we are looking for caregivers who can provide consistent, reliable coverage. We are flexible in how the hours are divided between caregivers and are open to creating a schedule that works well for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Safely transfer and reposition the client using a Hoyer Lift
- Provide mobility assistance
- Assist with toileting, dressing, grooming, and hygiene as needed
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Communicate any changes or concerns regarding the client's condition
Requirements
- Previous Hoyer Lift experience is REQUIRED
- Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or direct care experience preferred
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive
- Must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the client's home
Schedule
Approximately 70 hours per week are available and may be divided between multiple caregivers.
Possible schedules may include:
- Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts with separate weekend coverage
- Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts with another caregiver covering Friday–Sunday
- Other scheduling arrangements may be considered based on caregiver availability
