Fulfillment Lead Licensed Cannabis Cultivator & Manufacturer - New Jersey (B2B) Reports to: VP of Sales & Marketing Employment type: Full-time, on-site Compensation: Competitive, based on experience ($22-$25/hour) Who We Are We are a friend and family‑owned licensed cannabis cultivator and manufacturer serving licensed dispensaries across New Jersey. The Role The Fulfillment Lead is the operational backbone of our sales engine. Sitting within the sales/revenue operations team, you own the path from confirmed order to delivered product — picking, packing, logistics, and the compliance and QA checks that protect every shipment. You will be the connective tissue between our sales reps and the production floor, making sure what was sold is what ships, accurately counted and fully compliant, every time. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is equally comfortable on the floor packing an order and on the phone with a rep solving a delivery hiccup. What You’ll Do Own order fulfillment end‑to‑end — pick, pack, and stage outbound orders for licensed dispensary accounts accurately and on schedule. Manage delivery logistics: build manifests, plan routes and schedules, and coordinate with drivers to ensure on‑time delivery. Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the sales team — confirm order details, flag inventory or timing issues, and keep reps updated on order status. Verify that every outbound order is compliant with NJ‑CRC regulations, properly labeled, and accurately recorded in the seed‑to‑sale tracking system. Perform and document QA checks on outgoing product (counts, labeling, packaging integrity, batch/lot accuracy). Reconcile physical inventory against system counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, manifests, and inventory movements for audit and compliance purposes. Partner with cultivation, production, and sales to forecast fulfillment needs and prevent stockouts or bottlenecks. Identify and implement improvements to fulfillment workflows, packing processes, and order accuracy. Keep the fulfillment area clean, organized, and audit‑ready at all times. What You Bring Required 2+ years in fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or order operations — ideally in a regulated or B2B environment. Strong attention to detail and a track record of accuracy with counts, records, and compliance. Excellent communication and coordination skills; comfortable being the link between sales reps and the warehouse. Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines at once. Comfortable with inventory/order systems and basic spreadsheets. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day. Must be 21+ and able to pass a background check as required for licensed cannabis employment in New Jersey. Preferred Experience in licensed cannabis fulfillment, distribution, or a similarly regulated industry. Familiarity with NJ‑CRC regulations, seed‑to‑sale tracking, and cannabis manifest/transport requirements. Experience with B2B order platforms (e.g., Apex Trading) or similar wholesale ordering systems. A continuous‑improvement mindset and comfort level suggest better ways to run the operation.
