What You’ll Do Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Warmly greet every customer who arrives, answer basic questions, and ensure they feel welcomed and valued. Master the Process: Work side-by-side with our experienced team to learn step-by-step automotive maintenance processes, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and safety inspections. Keep Things Running Smoothly: Proactively maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment and pit area. Work as a Team: Communicate effectively with teammates to perform fast, accurate, and high-quality preventative maintenance. Qualifications & Requirements Positive Attitude & Driven Mindset: A proactive personality and a genuine desire to learn and succeed. Strong Communication: Ability to speak comfortably and courteously with customers and team members. Dependability: Punctual, reliable, and ready to work with a strong sense of responsibility. Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced shop environment, and lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Driver’s License (preferred/required depending on shop needs). Grease Monkey is looking for an outgoing, safe, personable and friendly customer service associate with a great work ethic to help the customer and inform them of what we are working on in their vehicle in a fast-paced environment. MUST be reliable, and MUST love taking care of customers. Service writer is a plus but not necessary. Wage is based on previous experience. Responsibilities Present air filter, cabin air filter, breather, and radiator cap if applicable, for customer inspection. Maintain communications with waiting customers, keep them informed of wait times, and answer questions. Ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe atmosphere for customers. Review Service Order Ticket, including the Warranty and Free Top-Off Programs on the back, thoroughly with customers at check-out, explain services performed, purpose of static sticker and reminder card. Remind departing customers to submit feedback about their visit. Thank all departing customers and remind them to return. Resolve customer complaints and damage claims. Qualifications Skills: Sales, Customer Service, Intermediate Computing skills Basic literacy (ready, writing, math skills); Verbal communication skills Ability to learn and implement multiple software platforms. Ability and licensed to operate motor vehicles; Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools Previous experience managing a retail automotive center or equivalent related business required Working Conditions Environment: Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift.
