About the Position

An established Emergency Department in Newburgh, New York is seeking Medical Director Emergency Medicine to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center with high-acuity cases, strong specialty support, and opportunities to contribute to the development of a new Emergency Department model.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active New York medical license
• Eligible to practice in New York
• Emergency Medicine experience appropriate for a Level III Trauma Center
• Comfortable managing high-acuity/trauma patients
• Ability to treat both adult and pediatric patients
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, nurses, and specialists
• Epic EMR experience preferred/required based on facility expectations
• Willingness to participate in teaching/education opportunities is a plus
