As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and other occupants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a historic commercial property. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services in accordance with site procedures. Assist with the protection of historic building features and property assets by reporting damage, hazards, access concerns, and suspicious activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
