Description

Are you a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in need of a part-time or PRN opportunity? Would you like to provide care to a quadriplegic employee of the Department of Interior who because of targeted disabilities, require assistance during work hours? If you answered yes to either question, and meet the qualifications, RieLes Group has an opportunity in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area for you. The CNA in this position will receive a competitive compensation package inclusive of paid time off and access to health benefit options. Schedule: Wednesday mornings 7 AM until 11:30 AM, Thursday and Friday 7 AM until 3:30 PM, totaling 20 guaranteed hours a week. Also, the person would serve as PRN/backup for the other caretaker in case of appointments, emergencies, etc.

The following list is a range of personal/proxy care services needed by quadriplegic employees:

• Assistance with getting out of bed using a Hoyer Lift
• Grooming
• Dressing
• Maintaining hygiene during the employee's workday
• Feeding
• Holding beverages
• Light physical movement, 10-minute range of motion stretches, and mobility assistance (i.e. tilting chair every 30 minutes for a pre-determined amount of time).
• Administrative Support to include retrieving mail and packages, assisting with navigating to the designated workstation
• Occasional filing, assembling and/or mailing of materials.

The CNA in this position must:

• Must have a current and valid BLS Certification
• Must have at least one year of verified experience performing similar duties
• Must be dependable (good attendance)
• Strong interpersonal working skills are required
• Must be able to successfully pass the government's background screening process
