Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $104,900 - 174,700 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
• We need strong production experience in AWS
• We require substantial, practical Terraform experience in real-world environments
• We need experience operating monitoring and uptime tools such as Grafana, Pingdom, and Uptrends
• We need solid Linux, networking, and troubleshooting capabilities
• We need experience supporting production environments through incident response and on-call rotations
• We need proficiency with GitHub and modern Git-based workflows
• We need experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
• We need familiarity with ITSM and incident processes in ServiceNow
• We need strong written communication skills and experience documenting systems and processes in Confluence
• We need the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting

• Preferred: We value infrastructure-as-code best practices beyond Terraform, including modules, testing, and CI integration

• We design, build, and operate highly available, scalable systems in AWS
• We write, maintain, and review Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure
• We own and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability with Grafana, Pingdom, and Uptrends
• We participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to production incidents until resolution
• We lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews with an emphasis on prevention and automation
• We define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
• We build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub
• We work closely with application teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployability
• We automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce toil
• We maintain clear, actionable runbooks and documentation in Confluence
• We track work, incidents, and operational improvements in Jira and ServiceNow
• We mentor other engineers and help establish SRE standards and best practices
