This role has a primary focus on Accounting & Finance processes from record to report, with an emphasis on general Financial Accounting support within Workday. This team’s purpose is to leverage people, processes, and technology to improve finance operations. The Analyst provides day-to-day Workday support across general ledger, close, consolidations, and financial accounting processes — partnering with the broader Accounting and Finance teams to troubleshoot issues, support configuration, and drive continuous improvement. The Analyst is expected to build strong relationships with the Accounting, Finance, & cross functional teams.Responsibilities:Document requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.Acquire an understanding of the business issues and data challenges of the organization.Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.Provide day-to-day support for close-related Workday processes, troubleshooting issues, and recommending configuration improvements in partnership with Accounting stakeholders.Communicate effectively with department SMEs to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions & support day to day business needs.Enhance connections with existing and new interfaces.Establish and apply a repeatable methodology to lead change management activities driven by FSA.Coordinate user acceptance testing; writing testing scenarios, working with process improvement, assisting with issue resolution.Manage and communicate change effectively by addressing resistance and ensuring smooth transitions.Lead projects and ensures completeness of tasks and communicating updates to leadership.Ensures training and procedures are developed by supporting teams to support process optimizations and new projects.Support testing and communication of Workday’s semi-annual release updates, assessing impact on Financial Accounting/R2R processes.Conduct data-driven assessments to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of waste.Monitor close-cycle data and reconciliation status to flag issues and support process improvements, in collaboration with process owners.RequirementsRequired QualificationsProven ability to work cross functionally and to communicate technical data concepts to both technical teams and business usersAbility to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities while producing meaningful deliverables and meeting deadlinesCapable of developing comprehensive end user documentation and designing visual workflows for improved operational understanding and efficiency, specifically for Enterprise Applications.Strong knowledge of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planningExcellent problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and able to prioritize daily responsibilities and projectsAbility to translate complex data into simple, clear insights for business partnersOne-team mindset: recognizes and steps up when help is needed.Meets or exceeds deadlines for deliverables and takes responsibility for outcomes and results.Proactive and seeks new opportunities to improve processes within the business.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to problem solve, make sound decisions, and resolve conflicts.Microsoft Suite proficiency: Excel for data analysis, Word for sophisticated document creation, PowerPoint for engaging presentations, and Outlook for efficient email and calendar management.undefinedEducation and Experience:Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management discipline and/or three or more years of experience.Strong data management skills2 years+ of experience working as an analyst or developing automated solutions.2+ years supporting Workday Financial Accounting or Record to Report processes (general ledger, month-end/quarter-end close, reconciliations, consolidations, intercompany accounting).Exposure to programming languages or advanced analytics.Experience working cross functionally within organizations. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
