Summary:
Aspenall Energies Services, LLC is committed to combating climate change through a portfolio of
decentralized renewable energy projects that it owns and manages across all stages—from
development and operation to repowering and decommissioning. We are guided by five core values:
candor in our communications, courage in our decisions, compassion in our relationships,
collaboration in our approach, and carefulness in our execution. These principles shape our culture
and drive everything we do.
The Operations Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and driving the execution of
operational work across Aspenall's operating portfolio. This role ensures that maintenance, repairs,

Key Responsibilities:
Field operations, contractor coordination, and quality oversight:
‣ Coordinate and track scheduled and corrective maintenance, repairs and inspections at
operating projects in alignment with schedules, site priorities and safety requirements.
‣ Routinely travel to operating projects to supervise work in progress, drive suppliers and
contractors towards efficiency and expediency, verify prompt completion against approved
scope, identify documentation or quality gaps, drive contractors and suppliers to correct
deficiencies and report findings to internal teams and contractors.
‣ Track and ensure resolution of open operational events and maintain clear status visibility.
Escalate technical, safety, budget, scope, or schedule issues to the Technical Director or COO
as appropriate.
‣ Ensure safety and compliance with rules, procedures, and relevant laws and ordinances are
maintained at all sites.
Stakeholder and project relationship management:
‣ Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for site personnel, contractors, vendors, landowners,
local representatives, and other project stakeholders within assigned authority.
‣ Maintain clear and proactive communication with site personnel, vendors, landowners and other
stakeholders regarding upcoming work, outages, access requirements, schedules, site impacts,
and changes in a timely manner.
‣ Document stakeholder concerns, commitments, requests, and follow-up actions; coordinate
internally to ensure timely resolution.
‣ Maintain and update stakeholder information (e.g., landowners, vendors, contractors, regulatory
contacts) to ensure current and reliable contact and account details.
‣ Coordinate operational onboarding and transition activities for projects entering the operating
portfolio through development, acquisition, or repowering.
Purchase orders, budgets, and invoices support:
‣ Support the creation and reconciliation of purchase orders (POs) for operational activities and
services, helping ensure accuracy of scope, pricing, coding, and supporting documentation.
‣ Assist with reviewing the anticipated budget impact of POs and request budget modifications or
re‐classifications as necessary.
‣ Support the verification and reference contractual documentation as needed to confirm scope,
commercial terms, and other obligations related to POs, invoices, and project activities.
‣ Support the reconciliation of vendor invoices against POs and contracts, flag discrepancies or
unexpected charges, missing documentation, or scope concerns and work with internal teams
and vendors to resolve issues.
Data, reporting, & Operational Controls:
‣ Support the downloading and compilation of SCADA, metering, maintenance and other
operational information to support reporting inputs including but not limited to monthly
performance reports, compliance filing templates, energy generation tracking and draft energy
invoices.
‣ Build and maintain Excel‐based tracking tools, project dashboards, schedules, action registers
and operational reports (e.g., using formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and charts) to support
operations, compliance, and financial review.
‣ Support with facilitating project and operations meetings; prepare agendas, maintain action
registers, document decisions, and communicate follow-up responsibilities.
‣ Maintain accurate project and operational records, including reports, work documentation,
change requests, insurance documentation, project archives, and stakeholder records.
‣ Map workflows, identify recurring bottlenecks and control gaps, and recommend improved
procedures, templates, and tracking mechanisms, and support implementation of
improvements.
‣ Other support and administrative activities as assigned.
Experience:
‣ Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, business, operations,
finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
‣ Two or more years of relevant experience in renewable-energy operations, power generation,
construction/project coordination, field services, contractor management, or a comparable
operational environment.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate vendors or contractors, manage competing schedules,
document work completion, and follow issues through resolution.
‣ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, lookups, filters, and
basic charts for data tracking and analysis.
‣ Demonstrated experience coordinating schedules, managing POs/invoices, or supporting
budgets in an operational or project environment.
‣ Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new software systems and tools, including SCADA or
other technical data platforms.
‣ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with sound judgment to
prepare clear reports, summaries, and recommendations and to represent the company
professionally with internal teams, contractors, project-site personnel, and external stakeholders.
‣ Ability to travel regularly to remote operating locations; valid driver’s license and ability to meet
company vehicle-insurance requirements.
‣ Ability to work safely in active construction and operating-generation environments and to
comply with applicable site safety requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
‣ Experience in wind, solar, or other renewable energy operations, power generation, or energy
markets.
‣ Experience working with SCADA systems, asset management platforms, or energy
metering/reporting tools.
‣ Experience with landowner relations, local permitting, environmental compliance, insurance
documentation, regulatory reporting, or project transition/onboarding.
‣ Familiarity with basic contract concepts (scope of work, payment terms, change orders) and/or
regulatory and compliance documentation.
‣ Experience supporting cross‐functional teams (e.g., operations, engineering, accounting,
compliance) in a fast‐moving environment.
‣ Experience with advanced Excel functions, data visualization, or other data tools (e.g., Power
Query, Power BI, or similar).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
‣ Proactive ownership: Self‐starter who anticipates needs, takes responsibility for assigned tasks,
and follows through without requiring step‐by‐step direction.
‣ Solution‐oriented mindset: Brings options and recommendations, not just problems; flags issues
early and proposes practical paths forward.
‣ Curiosity and learning agility: Asks thoughtful questions to understand desired outcomes, seeks
clarity where needed, and adapts quickly when processes or priorities change.
‣ Attention to detail and accuracy: Strong organizational skills, rigorous approach to data and
documentation, and reliable follow‐through on commitments.
‣ Collaboration and communication: Communicates clearly and respectfully with internal and
external stakeholders, listens actively, and keeps the team informed of progress and obstacles.
‣ Process mindset: Comfortable documenting workflows, standardizing templates, and identifying
opportunities to streamline and improve how work gets done.
Ability to work at heights: Willing and able to climb wind turbines and work at elevated heights.
Successful completion of company-provided climb training is required.
Tools and systems used:
‣ Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced use for tracking, analysis, and data visualization).
‣ Microsoft Office / 365 (Word, Outlook), Apple (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), Zoom Virtual
Meetings
‣ Project SCADA and other operational data systems (training provided).
‣ Accounting and procurement platforms used for POs, invoices, and budget tracking (training
provided).
‣ File management and collaboration tools (e.g., shared drives, document management systems,
project tracking tools)
Travel Requirements:
