Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Stroke Unit

Location

Crestview, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Stroke Unit
• Assess, monitor, and document neurological and medical-surgical patient conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on stroke-related diagnoses, recovery, and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida state RN license or multistate compact license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Demonstrated stroke unit experience (must be reflected in submission)
• AHCA compliance required for all Florida travel placements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Stroke setting
• Familiarity with stroke care protocols and neurological assessment tools
