Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced MedSurg RN for a 13-week assignment with possible extension. The role involves working days with float coverage, minimal to no requested time off, and requires recent clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatments.
• Ensure compliance with all certification requirements and safety standards.
• Utilize EMR (Soarian) to document patient information and care activities.
• Respond effectively to patient needs and urgent situations as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with proof of licensure processing if pending.
• Minimum of 2 years recent MedSurg nursing experience required; 3+ years for certain specialties.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate experience with EMR systems, preferably Soarian.
• Travel experience and previous travel assignment experience preferred.
• Ability to provide references, Skills Checklist, updated NURSYS, and proof of residence within 50 miles of the facility.
