Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend required | Every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes throughout the shift
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact equivalent
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday as required by the facility
• Note: Time-off requests and scheduling requests cannot be pre-approved for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
• Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
