The company specializes in:Federal and secure (SCIF) construction projectsGovernment work across both local and national DMV markets.Self-performance operations alongside subcontracted deliveryYour new roleThis role will play a critical part in leading estimating efforts, the pre-construction department and supporting project execution. You will join an experienced estimating team and take ownership of bids from concept through turnover, working closely with operations and leadership.Lead estimating efforts across federal and secure construction projectsLead a team of 2 in the estimating department.Lead bid strategy and pricing reviews. Risk management, client and partner engagement and monitor market conditions. Analyze and break down detailed specifications and technical requirementsPrepare accurate and competitive bids across multiple tradesSupport the transition from pre-construction into project execution (turnover phase)Collaborate with project managers, project executives, and field teamsContribute to scheduling, pricing strategy, and procurement planningWhat you'll need to succeed10+ years estimating experience in federal construction and/or SCIF projects (location flexible; relocation supported)Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, and technical documentation5+ years management and leadership experience.
