Sanitation TechnicianWe are seeking a Sanitation Technician in Brooklyn on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for performing routine daily cleaning and sanitation of production equipment and production areas.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Sanitation Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 16.00 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 04:30pm to 01:00am)Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of production equipment and production areas.Follow safety and sanitation protocols at all times.Will also be responsible for operating a forklift or scissor liftDress Code:Work in a climate-controlled environment (~50°F); dressing in layers is recommended.No jewelry, including facial piercings, earrings, necklaces, and rings (except plain wedding band).No fake nails or nail polish.No false eyelashes or eyelash extensions.No leggings, shorts, capris, or tank tops.Closed-toed, non-slip, and comfortable shoes are required; footwear must be clean and free of holes.Sanitation Qualifications:This position is physically demanding and requires frequent laying down, squatting, and bending.Experience in, or willingness to learn, sanitation procedures in the food processing industry.Must be available to work overtime as needed.Comfortable driving a forkliftMust be able to comply with all dress code standards.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
