Radiology Technologist - Per Diem

Role Overview The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations using advanced equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality by applying clinical judgment, appropriate positioning, and radiation dose calibration. They aim to produce high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure, adhering to ALARA principles. Responsibilities Include Performing imaging procedures based on physician orders. Utilizing clinical knowledge to optimize patient positioning and radiation techniques. Ensuring patient safety and comfort during examinations. Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards. Qualifications And Skills Meeting certification, licensing, or registration requirements, including Oregon Radiographer License or Temporary License. New graduates must hold a temporary license and obtain a permanent license within six months. Within six months, obtaining national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
