Come join a team that is passionate about the patients and community we serve. ** $15k Sign on bonus offeredfor new hires working full time The Boise OR has 4 Specialty Service Line Teams: General/Pediatric (Trauma): St. Luke’s is the pediatric trauma center for the state of Idaho Robotics/Oscopy: Three robots making St. Luke’s one of the largest robotic programs in the Northwest Orthopedics: Specializing in robotic joint surgery, pediatric orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma Neurology: Neurosurgery with BrainLab and Stealth technologies, craniotomies, subdural hematomas, aneurysms, and fusions of the cervical and lumbar spine Schedule Options for Full time: 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) Option 1: 3 (12) hour day shift 0645 start time Monday - Friday, varied days based on surgery schedule. Option 2: 3 (12) hour swing shift 11:00am to 11:00pm Monday - Friday, varied days based on surgery schedule. Some call required: Weekend and holiday in-house shifts are included in work requirements and selected through yearly sign-up schedule. Call response time is 30 minutes. Unit Summary The Boise Operating room serves all specialties outside CVOR and L&D. We are the largest OR in the system and support the highest acuity patient population in Pediatric Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, ENT, OMF, Plastics, Urology, Bariatrics and General surgery. We have a fast-paced environment that encourages teamwork and fosters ongoing growth. Our facility is co-located with both the regions Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Institute. Job Description Qualifications: Education: Nursing Degree (ADN, Diploma or BSN) Experience: 1+ years RN experience in the operating room is required.
