Industrial Welder

Job TitleJob OverviewRequirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or equivalent.1-3 years experience in welding required.Advanced blueprint and weld symbol reading skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Efficient in basic computer skills including accessing and sending emails and completing online certifications.Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues or direct them to the appropriate team.Must live within commuting distance of Florence, KY for regular in-person work.Responsibilities:Perform weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to drawings and specifications.Position, fit, tack, and weld fabricated components into assemblies according to blueprints and sketches.Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding based on knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.Apply knowledge of GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and plasma cutting.Apply techniques of flame straightening.Assist and direct other Welders in welding assemblies and techniques.Follow procedures as set forth in company welding procedures and specifications.Use guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.Detect and report unusual conditions, faulty equipment, or material problems to supervision.Observe good housekeeping practices and follow prescribed safety precautions.Perform other related or associated duties as assigned.Skills:GMAW.GTAW.FCAW.Plasma cutting.Flame straightening.Blueprint reading.Weld symbol reading.Tack welding.Fabrication.Qualification And Education:Qualified in all positions as required by company welding procedures for specified processes.
