Your role and responsibilities As a Maximo Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing the Maintenance and Support of applications. You will be accountable for ensuring that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations. Your primary responsibilities will include: Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements including IBM, client employees, and 3rd-party vendors to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. Establish Communication Plans: Develop an effective communication plan to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes. Manage Project Scope: Ensure that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations. Drive Project Outcomes: Possess experience with project management methodologies and tools to drive successful project outcomes. Deliver Status Updates: Deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and visibility into project progress. This job can be performed from anywhere in the US. Required technical and professional expertise Deep Expertise in Project Management Methodologies: Experience with project management methodologies and tools to establish effective communication plans, manage project scope, and drive successful project outcomes. Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Experience in leading cross-functional project teams, including IBM, client employees, and 3rd-party vendors, to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. Complex Project Planning: Experience with managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure projects are completed within specified scope, cost, and timeline. Stakeholder Management: Experience in developing and executing effective communication plans to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes. Contractual Obligations Management: Experience in managing projects to meet business requirements and contractual obligations, ensuring successful project outcomes and minimizing risks. Maximo Application Suite Experience: A minimum of 5 years working with Maximo, versions 7.x, 8.x and 9.x preferred, experience with Manage, Health, Predict, and Mobile. Utilities industry experience. Preferred technical and professional experience Project Management Tools: Experience with project management methodologies and tools to establish effective communication plans, manage project scope, and drive successful project outcomes. Agile Development Methodologies: Exposure to agile development methodologies to deliver custom development solutions or manage the Maintenance and Support of applications. IT Service Management: Experience with IT service management principles to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution.
