Outside Sales Representative

ISCO Industries is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipe, piping systems, and related applications to grow our customer base and expand market share within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships, and providing industry expertise to help customers identify the right HDPE solutions for their projects. The ideal candidate will have proven success selling HDPE pipe, fittings, or related products and services, with the ability to understand customer needs, provide technical guidance, and build long-term partnerships. The Outside Sales Representative will represent ISCO Industries as an industry leader while driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting, relationship management, and consultative sales efforts. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Territory Growth Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory, with a focus on HDPE pipe solutions and related markets. Build relationships with contractors, engineers, distributors, municipalities, utilities, and other industry stakeholders. Prospect, qualify, and establish contact with potential customers while maintaining accurate prospect records in the company database. Represent ISCO Industries at industry events, trade shows, professional associations, and customer meetings to promote brand awareness and develop positive relationships. Research customer needs and develop tailored HDPE product and service solutions utilizing available sales resources and technical expertise. Communicate the value, benefits, and applications of ISCO’s HDPE products and services to prospective and existing customers. Develop and maintain strong customer partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities and increase customer satisfaction. Serve as a trusted advisor by providing HDPE industry knowledge, product guidance, and project support. Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase ISCO’s market share. Prepare sales proposals, quotes, market analysis, and expense reports for customers and management. Negotiate pricing, terms, and sales opportunities while maintaining profitability goals. Support collection efforts and assist with resolving customer account issues as needed. Partner closely with customer service associates and internal teams to coordinate sales efforts and ensure exceptional customer support. Prepare for and participate in sales meetings, customer presentations, and project reviews. Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments related to HDPE piping solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven outside sales experience, preferably within the HDPE pipe, plastic piping, water/wastewater, utilities, construction, infrastructure, or related industries. Strong understanding of HDPE pipe products, applications, installation methods, and industry standards. Demonstrated ability to develop new business, manage a sales territory, and grow customer relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand technical products and provide solutions-based selling. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple customer opportunities independently.
