Assembly Technician

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm; 2nd Shift: 3:30pm-11:30pm

About the Role
Join our manufacturing team as an Assembly Technician, where you will perform tire mounting, repair, and replacement services for agricultural and heavy equipment vehicles. You will handle heavy tires and equipment, work in a demanding environment, and ensure high safety and quality standards. This role is vital to maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount tractor tires on machines using appropriate tools and methods
• Conduct tire repairs, including patching and plugging punctures
• Replace tires based on inspection findings
• Mount and balance new tires onto rims using tire mounting machinery
• Perform tire rotations and wheel alignments as needed
• Inspect tires for damage, tread wear, and proper inflation levels
• Diagnose tire issues such as punctures and leaks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during work operations
• Assist with inventory management for tires and repair supplies
• Provide friendly, informative customer service if engaged directly

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift and maneuver tires and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs
• Familiarity with tire repair tools and equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work in hot, dirty, and physically demanding environments
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday with shift flexibility for 1st or 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in tire repair, mounting, or changing (preferred but not required)
• Prior experience in mechanical assembly or tire mounting

Tools, Equipment, and Systems

• Tire mounting and balancing machinery
• Patching and plugging tools for tire repairs

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Heavy lifting of tires and equipment up to 40 lbs
• Work in hot, dirty, and physically demanding conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
