Starbucks Counter Attendant
The Starbucks Counter Attendant is responsible for creating a great guest experience. Duties range from taking guest orders to recommending new beverages, food and retail, cash handling and keeping area cleaned, organized and stocked.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
- Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition in a timely manner.
- Prepare food and beverage items for guests.
- Use suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure that supplies in outlet areas are well stocked.
- Operate the Point of Sale system, cash handling, and accurately record guest's orders.
- Resolve guest complaints.
- Complete side work and any additional daily tasks.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission.
- Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle a flexible schedule and work weekends, holidays and all shifts.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Ability to stand for duration of the shift, bend and reach to a height of six feet with or without assistance.
- Hand/eye coordination and the ability to use sensory faculties.
