Air & Ocean Pricing Analyst
International Freight Forwarding | Houston, TX
We are hiring an Air & Ocean Pricing Specialist to support international freight forwarding operations across import/export pricing, carrier procurement, and customer quotations.
This role is responsible for preparing competitive air freight and ocean freight pricing solutions across global trade lanes while supporting sales, operations, and customer growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare air and ocean freight quotations for import and export shipments
- Manage spot quotes, RFQs, and contract pricing requests
- Coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, trucking providers, and overseas agents to secure competitive rates
- Support sales teams with pricing strategy and routing solutions
- Review transit times, carrier options, and shipment requirements
- Maintain pricing accuracy within CargoWise and internal systems
- Monitor carrier pricing, fuel surcharges, market conditions, and capacity trends
- Assist with procurement activity, bid management, and customer implementations
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure service alignment and execution
Requirements
- 2+ years of freight forwarding pricing or logistics operations experience
- Strong knowledge of air freight and ocean freight pricing structures
- Experience handling RFQs, spot quotes, and carrier negotiations
- Understanding of Incoterms, routing, and international shipping processes
- CargoWise experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment
