QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (QC INSPECTOR) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $16.50/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• • Rotating schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off and 2 days on, 3 days off
  • Weekend work required as part of the rotation

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (QC INSPECTOR) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Quality Control Inspector (QC Inspector)  is responsible for performing inspections and testing activities to ensure products meet established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (QC INSPECTOR) | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform inspections and testing in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
• Analyze inspection results and identify nonconforming products or materials
• Determine product disposition based on inspection findings
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
• Interpret engineering drawings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality programs
• Follow equipment maintenance and calibration procedures

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (QC INSPECTOR) | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 1+ years of quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or related experience
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as: Calipers, Micrometers, Pin gauges, Gauge blocks, Optical measurement equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and quality standards

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with calibrated inspection equipment
• Previous involvement in continuous improvement activities
• Understanding of quality systems and compliance standards

Additional Requirements

• Eye exam required
• Steel-toe shoes required
• Ability to work a rotating overnight schedule, including weekends
