Department Manager

Description Managers lead shifts and may also oversee department‑level responsibilities in areas such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Each department manager is accountable for delivering a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience while maintaining operational standards. Responsibilities Lead shifts and ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Manage assigned systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, and delegate tasks. Follow up on tasks and report results to the team and other managers. For the Guest Service Department: ensure a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff in procedures, and keep Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized. For the Kitchen Department: ensure quality, safe food delivery, control food costs, and train kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items. For the People Department: hire qualified crew, provide training, schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, and foster crew motivation and recognition. Qualifications Preferred previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with flexible schedule and a passion for a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older.
