Scope of work: The Applications Development Analyst will work closely with customers, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

The duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Ensure the analysis and design solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies that comply with the FDC's architectural standards;
• Design, code, test, implement, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget;
• Make recommendations regarding reuse of existing code or development of new code;
• Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations;
• Provide senior level programming support with managing expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings for the Client executive leadership;
• Work independently and as part of a larger cross-functional team; and
• Complete activities surrounding the implementation and support of agency governance.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of C# and experience with Classic ASP;
• 5+ years of SQL Server database experience;
• 5+ years of relevant architecture experience;
• Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration;
• Proficiency with Visual Basic, C#,.NET. and VBScript;
• Proficiency coding ASP.NET Web applications and ASP / VBScript web pages;
• Proficiency coding VB.NET Windows based applications;
• Proficiency developing XML Web Services and Server Components with VB.NET ;
• Developing applications for Corporate owned devices with mobile device management; and
• Proficiency in Querying MS-SQL using T-SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting systems within a correctional environment;
• Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) Compliance within a correctional environment;
• Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) data compliance within a correctional environment;
