Substance Abuse Counselor - (LCSW-C, LCADA OR LCPC Required) Smith Staffing Services has an immediate need for a contract position at one of our clients in the Hartford County, Maryland area. We have a long‑term contract in Bel Air, MD for a Substance Abuse Counselor requiring LCADC, LCSW-C, or LCPC. The assignment offers flexible hours of up to 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling Perform assessments and intakes Conduct urinalysis screenings and secure insurance authorizations Offer casework services and complete comprehensive dependency assessments in a timely fashion Qualifications All applicants must be fully licensed counselors in the state of MD (i.e. LCADC, LCSW-C, or LCPC) and must pass drug screening and a background check. The main purpose is to counsel clients with substance abuse disorder(s) or co‑occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders through individual, group, and family counseling sessions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Smith Staffing Services
