Future Opening: FT CDL End Dump Trailer

End Dump Trailer Driver

Primary responsibility is to drive an end dump trailer to job sites and safely deliver the load(s). This will require driving to different locations/plants to pick up the product and unload the products. This occurs in various settings and conditions, including uneven ground. An end dump trailer driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the end dump trailer used for the delivery/pickup of products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads
• Check loads to ensure the product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner to adjust to the desired level.
• Verify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site.
• Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies.
• Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery/pickup instructions.
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, fuel, oil, and water
• Maintain good working knowledge of the city's traffic routes.
• Must be able to take instructions and guidance from supervisors and management.
• Adhere to all company DOT and OSHA rules and regulations at all times.
• Meet or exceed company safety standards.
• Strive to meet customer expectations.
• Perform other job responsibilities as needed.

Requirements: Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a valid NC-issued Class A Commercial Driver's license with at least 2 years' experience.
• 1 year of end dump trailer driver experience is needed.
• MVR - No DUIs or DWIs in the last 5 years, no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
