Surgical Technician First Assist – Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days (12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first assist support during surgical procedures across Orthopedic, Neurological, and ENT specialties
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgical cases as required
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including a minimum of 1–2 call shifts per week
• Participate in one 24-hour weekend call shift per month per schedule
• Collaborate with charge and nursing management staff during weekend call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Current certification or credentials as a Surgical Technologist First Assist
• Demonstrated proficiency in Orthopedic, Neurological, and ENT surgical procedures
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery platforms
• Ability to meet on-call requirements including weekend 24-hour call coverage
• Travel assignment readiness for a 13-week contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel surgical technician experience
• Familiarity with high-volume surgical environments and varied case types
