HVAC Parts Store Manager - New Orleans

The HVAC Parts Store Manager is expected to drive store sales through aggressive marketing and excellent customer service while maintaining the desired margin goal. This position is responsible for the determination of inventory carried within the location and pricing of inventory. Location: New Orleans, LA Responsibilities include but are not limited to: R ecruit, hire and lead a team to supply HVAC parts, equipment and supplies over the phone and in person interacting with customers on a daily basis Plan, develop and implement operational policies and goals Coordinate with local and corporate management to maintain processes and standards as well as contribute to the development of new standards Determine responsibilities of assigned staff positions to accomplish business objectives Create solutions to customer needs by providing overall technical support and researching options including, but not limited to receiving and processing orders, product and service questions, warranty administration and overall customer complaints Determine the inventory mix based on current market, future market trends and customer needs along with making sure that inventory mix is maintained within the location Responsible for overall inventory management and ensuring that it is appropriately accounted for Research competitive information to competitively price all inventory while maintaining a solid profit margin Create a comprehensive marketing strategy for the direct sales office and determine the most efficient avenues to achieve or exceed overall revenue goals Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner Drive customer policy enhancements based on need and makes exceptions to customer policies and procedures where appropriate What’s in it for you: Opportunity to work for a leading manufacturers rep looking to expand offices all a long the I- 1 0 corridor in Louisiana. Potential to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth and development Endless opportunities to make an impact in a people-centered, growing company Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent technical experience with HVAC Parts 6-8+ years of HVAC and/or store sales experience 4+ years of people leadership experience Ability to drive a forklift or forklift certified is preferred Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience is preferred Base salary with p erformance-based incentive plan Paid bi-weekly for base salary/ monthly for p erformance-based incentive plan 1 to 3 weeks of vacation per year as tenure increases Additional PTO – 4 hours each month after 90 days’ employment ½ Health insurance paid (employee or family) Health insurance plan (eligibility after 90 day probationary period) L ong term disability coverage starting 90 days after employment – paid 100% by the company – covers 60% of salary $20,000 term life insurance – coverage starting 90 days after employment – paid 100% by company Can contribute to the 401K plan 1 year after employment begins; matching up to 4% of salary depending on your contribution % 401K plan includes an optional profit-sharing contribution that has historically been funded since the plan started. A contribution is made for you even if you don’t contribute to the 401k plan.
