As a team member, you can expect excellent leadership, supportive facility leadership, competitive rates and benefits, and a fun environment to work in.The OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT position offers the following:FULL TIME: Hourly with flexible schedule options which allow for balanced work life.PAY: EXCELLENT HOURLY RATE based on experienceSIGN ON BONUS: $2500.00Job Stability in an in-house supportive environmentCompetitive Pay and BenefitsWeekly PayProfessional Licensure ReimbursementContinuing Education AllowanceSupportive Director of RehabilitationClinical mentorship and leadership developmentJOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:Screening of residents of various cognitive and medical diagnosesKnowledge and understanding of standardized assessments and evidence-based practice which are utilized to support clinical interventions.Provide skilled Occupational Therapy services to medically necessary residents with cognitive and functional disorders to improve, maintain or prevent further deterioration.Communication of resident findings and progress to the OT in order to make clinical adjustments and decisions based on individual resident needs.Monitor treatment plans for effectiveness to ensure residents' functional outcomes.Provided education and consultation to residents, families, caregivers, and facility staff related to Occupational Therapy.Complete all necessary clinical documentation through each resident case.Communicates efficiently and effectively with Director of Rehabilitation, rehabilitation team members and other IDT staff regarding resident status, treatment plan, progress, barriers to progress and discharge planning.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRES:Florida licensed/eligible in Occupational Therapy AssistantKnowledge of Net Health and Point Click CareProfessionalism, excellent communication, and time management skills
