Sr. Technical Sales Training Specialist

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Technical Sales Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical training programs for the Biosciences Division's global commercial organization. The role combines instructional design, in-person facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration to translate complex science into effective sales enablement.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver technical sales training across product, application, and workflow topics using multiple modalities
Facilitate in-person new-hire onboarding including technical instruction, hands-on learning, and assessments
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to identify learning needs and align training with commercial strategy
Create scalable, globally relevant learning content and tools in collaboration with regional partners
Evaluate learner proficiency and continuously improve training based on feedback and assessment data

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biology or related biological sciences
Master's degree or Ph.D. in life sciences highly preferred
5+ years life sciences experience with 2+ years in technical training or commercial enablement
In-person training facilitation and hands-on learning experience
Practical laboratory experience in life sciences
Strong instructor-led presentation and facilitation skills
Experience with instructional design principles and eLearning tools
