Insurance Account Manager

Insurance Account Manager The Insurance Account Manager is responsible for quoting renewals on assigned accounts. This role works closely with producers to ensure all business is placed appropriately and will follow up on calls, documents, and maintain and update assigned accounts. Responsibilities Goes through daily work file and identifies current coverages, premiums, and markets approached in the prior year Gives files to EVP for markets to be approached for the renewal Updates all applications with the insured and obtains current insured information (e.g., ownership, location, type of operation, fleet, drivers) Updates all applications for markets being approached Sends out submissions with updated information to all markets; sends out revisions if applicable Follows up with all carriers approached for status of quotes and forwards all requested information to underwriters Obtains and logs quotes Gives file to EVP once all quotes/declinations are received Qualifications Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 2–3 years of experience required, commercial insurance highly preferred Computer Skills: Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Applied, EPIC Systems preferred Other Qualifications: Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
