Clinical Nurse II - Endoscopy (Part Time, Day)

Position Overview At NorthBay Health the Registered Nurse on the Endoscopy Unit you will provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to our patients following Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and the NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient. Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing BSN level or higher nursing degree required (excludes grandfathered employees) License and Certifications Valid, current and unencumbered RN license by the State of California Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS required Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Minimum of 2 years required (5 years preferred) in an acute care or ASC setting within the last 5 years 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience strongly desired Competent in providing skilled registered nursing care to patients receiving sedation Skilled in arrhythmia interpretation Modifies and delivers care specific to the special needs/behaviors of patients ranging from infant through school-aged adolescent, adult, and geriatric within the scope of the perioperative departments Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills Interpersonal Skills Demonstrates the True North values: Nurture/Care, Own It, Respect Relationships, Build Trust, and Hardwire Excellence Work Hours FTE: 0.8 (Part-Time) Schedule: 32 hours weekly Shift Length: 8‑hour shifts Shift Hours: 0900 – 1730 Days: Weekend and call requirement based on department policy Compensation Hourly Salary Range: $77.39 – $93.32 (offered hourly rate based on years of experience) Benefits NorthBay Health offers a comprehensive benefits package based on established eligibility requirements.
