We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team and play a vital role in the early detection of breast cancer. In this position, you will perform high-quality mammography procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality while delivering precise and timely results. You'll also educate and support patients through the process, helping them feel at ease during their exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography exams following established protocols to achieve superior image quality.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all phases of the examination.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Position patients accurately for exams and provide clear explanations to reduce anxiety.
• Review patient history and ensure thorough, accurate documentation.
• Prepare images for review and interpretation by radiologists.
• Keep the mammography suite clean, organized, and fully functional.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in mammography techniques, technology, and safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT) with current certification.
• Valid state licensure in Colorado.
• Previous experience in mammography or diagnostic radiology is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of mammography procedures, safety standards, and equipment.
• Strong ability to address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
