Payroll Specialist

JGA are partnered exclusively with a fast-growing, innovative organisation in the healthcare technology sector that is looking for a Payroll Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations across a growing multi-state and international workforce. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Act as the primary administrator for the payroll system, maintaining employee records, tax configurations, and payroll data integrity. Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and statutory requirements. Reconcile payroll, benefits, and general ledger accounts while supporting audits and financial reporting. Partner with HR and Finance on benefits administration, leave payments, and payroll-related projects. Administer time & attendance processes and support corporate expense/card administration. Key Requirements: 3-6 years' experience processing multi-state payroll. Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, garnishments, and wage & hour legislation. Experience administering payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paylocity, Gusto , or similar. A proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership and enjoys improving processes. CPP certification is advantageous but not essential. The role is based in Dallas, TX and paying up to $120k + Bonus.
