Position Overview:

The Residential HVAC Manager will oversee all aspects of our residential HVAC operations, including service, installation, maintenance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Position Entails:

Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and support staff.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure technical proficiency and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Operations:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Manage scheduling and dispatching of technicians for service calls and installations.
• Ensure all work is completed to company standards and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service:

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of service issues.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

What Does It Take?

• Proven experience in HVAC management or a similar role.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Service Titan experience desired.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical/drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record; ability to obtain a chauffeur’s license if needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, analyze and solve problems, and work independently as well as in teams.

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders. Employees must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely navigate residential job sites, including basements, attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other confined or restricted areas. The role requires conducting technician ride-alongs, inspecting HVAC equipment and work areas, and occasionally assisting with troubleshooting or service-related activities. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, dust, dirt, and other conditions commonly encountered in residential HVAC environments.
