Ensures efficient workflow, staff coordination, and quality performance across the registration team. Serves as the primary point of contact during assigned shifts, supporting both staff and departmental needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced registration and administrative duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiencyCoordinate daily workflow by assigning, organizing, and delegating tasks to registration team membersDevelop staff rotations, including workstation assignments, break schedules, and coverage planningAct as the first point of contact for staff support, issue resolution, and interdepartmental collaborationMonitor registration quality, identify errors, and provide real-time coaching and corrective feedbackProvide leadership with feedback on employee performance and development opportunitiesPromote a positive and engaged work culture through clear expectations and recognitionMaintain ownership of productivity, worklists, and performance metricsEnsure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsModel professionalism, strong customer service, teamwork, and patient-centered careDemonstrate strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skillsMaintain flexible availability to support operational needs (Monday–Friday with variable hours)Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredProficiency in computer systems and ability to navigate multiple platformsExperience with Cerner preferredPrevious healthcare experience requiredStrong customer service and phone communication skills requiredDemonstrated leadership and team coordination abilitiesWork Shift Details:Afternoons, Primary hours: 2p-1030p, 3p-1130pPrimary days: Monday through Friday with occasional weekend rotationPrimary location: Main Campus ED with occasional rotation to Homer GlenDepartment:REGISTRATION Silver Cross Hospital
